They say there's no such thing as bad press... Well, here you'll get to see it all: the good, the bad, and if we're doing our jobs, the really just downright-snide. Below is a collection of reviews, press releases and letters of recommendation, as they come.
Blaze of Glory /Blizzard of Ozz – O’Riley’s, 5/04/07 (Harder Beat Magazine)
Playing to a full house, Bon Jovi tribute band Blaze of Glory had female fans at the front of the stage from the first song ‘til the last, singing along to every song. Featuring Trae Doss (lead vocals/guitar), Roy Lee Nelson (guitars/vocals), Wayne Tullos (bass/vocals) and Kenny “The Crusha” Schiumo (drums/vocals), the band played a wide variety of Bon Jovi hits like ["You Give Love a Bad Name"] and “[It's] My Life,” closing with an encore of “Bad Medicine.” These guys put on an exciting show and do everything right. Check out Blaze of Glory the next chance you get.
Blaze of Glory/Escape/Fire & Ice – Firewater, 2/01/08 (Dallas Observer Backpage)
Blaze Of Glory is a tribute to Bon Jovi. From the look to the sound. It's ok to get confused and think the real Bon Jovi is on the stage. Performing a set that pretty much replicates a real Bon Jovi Show, lead singer Trae Doss easily transforms into the role of Jon Bon Jovi. Vocally, Trae handles all the classic melodies with a range probably superior to what the real Bon Jovi is capable of today.
